Thanks for the review. Just one comment - there are multiple references to the case being "hexagonal", but you mean octagonal surely? Just to be a pedant.

Excellent review.
Mildly disappointed with the results. I will have to re-consider my choice of a silent case and might go back to the Define R5, although I still suspect that the Silent Base 800 has superior anti-vibration HDD mounting.
I also wonder how the Silent Base would perform if the two top fan positions were populated by low-spinning 500-600RPM fans.
