Cooler Master Elite 340
Hi folks!
This is my rig.
The photos are not very fine, because they were taken with a cellphone (with no flash) in a dark day (as you can see in the last pic).
Specs:
Motherboard: P5kpl-am
CPU: [email protected]
RAM: 2GB A-Data 800MHz
HDD: 500GB Maxtor (equivalent to Seagate 7200.11 series)
VGA: HD3850 Powercolor. Its cooler doesn't rotate most of the time, and its power consumption is very low while idling.
PSU: Solytech 600W SL-8600EPS. I took out two .35A fans, and put one .15A fan and blocked the other fan hole)
Case: Cooler Master Elite 340 (it came with no HD audio front conector - only AC97 - so I had to take the conector from another case)
CPU Heatsink: Akasa AK-965 (I took out the 92mm fan)
Rear Fan: Arctic Cooling AF 12025 PWM (conected to CPU FAN header.
I intend to buy a Dremel very soon, because the rear fan grill is very restrictive.
I also am going to make a hole at the bottom of the case, just below the VGA cooler, and put a 120mm fan there, disabling the litlle fan that came with the heatsink. ( this is the exact model: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814131075 )
AND i'm going to make some holes in the motherboard tray.

Very quiet. The dogs can't hear it.
I already put back the fan that came with that CPU heatsink, because it spins at 900 r.p.m. at idle and doesn't increase the noise. The CPU temperatures decreased 10 to 15 degrees Celsius.

You don't say... It's painfull just to look at it...lucas82 wrote: I intend to buy a Dremel very soon, because the rear fan grill is very restrictive.
You should have done it when you got the case before putting any of your components. If you do it now, fine metal dust from dremelling will settle all over your motherboard, videocard and fans. You're going to have to take all of your stuff out of the case and then put it back in.

BTW, there is a Gol quadrado reflecting on one of your photos, lol.
I wouldn't use such heavy cooler anyway.
Haha... mixing portuguese with english sounds very funny!!
BTW, it's not a gol quadrado, is a Saveiro g3 (the rear actually)
i love you brazilians (it means I love myself!!!)
