Finally....near perfect silence :^)

I have finally built a near silent gaming rig..my specs are as follows:

Asus P4C 800 Deluxe MB
Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 - ST380013A 80GB HDD
Corsair Pro series DDR 512MEG x 2 Dimms 3200C2PRO
Pentium 4 3.2gig 512k cache Northwood
ATI 9800 pro 128 meg
Toshiba DVD/CDROM - M1802
Sony CD Burner SCSI
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy ZS
Klipsch Promedias 5.1

Now here's what I added to make the rig silent:

Zalman Reserator 1 water cooling kit
VGA Silencer rev. 3 Artic Cooling
SilenX 80MM case fan 11dBA
Coolmax fanless switching power supply 480watt
Vantec Nexus 3 fan speed controller

I have overclocked both the CPU and the ATI 9800 pro:
CPU: 3.2 to 3.46 ghz
ATI card: core clock speed from 378.00 to 405.00, memory clock speed from 337.50 to 364.50 (Omega drivers 2.5.51 as of this posting)

This gaming rig is indeed VERY, VERY quiet!! Near silent. In my bedroom with absolute silence the only noise coming from the pc is the case fan and the vga fan and both of those can be adjusted. There is also a very slight whining noise being emitted but I cannot determine if it's the hard drive or the power supply. The only thing I'm thinking of changing is the pc case. I really like the look of the Thermaltake tsunami black with side window. I think it would look beautiful sitting next to the Zalman reserator. Silence is truly golden. Let me know what you think folks. Thanks.

I think it's silly to have a reserator and not get the vga water block when you're on the verge of a fanless system. :P

Also, have you decoupled your HD?

Sounds like a very nice rig though, congrats! :D

Be warned, the Tsunami is an aluminium case and will resonate. Especially if you haven't suspended your drives
