Nice, but more pics please. I'm interested in seeing all of the interior of the case, plus the outside rear of the case.

That's the Overture? Looks like you just escaped some clearance issues.

yes its an overture.. and due to the garbage load of paxmate in it.. and huge heatsinks.. i now have idle temps of 50c which is very bad.. i suppose its the one intake 80mm fan going through the psu .. this kinda makes me mad.. also i need to get another ehuast fan for under my heatpipe bc that pci section gets really hot!.. ill have some more pics once i add my mosfet sinks and other stuff

here is my mosfet mod finished

my temps are insanely high.. if anyone else has the ANTEC OVERTURE please tell me if your temps are also high.. with my side panel off i get 38c and with it on i get like 50c it sucks.. bad intake comments? o yea ill have more pics by tonight

hmm.. have you tried it without the paxmate btw? also can you put the oveture vertical on its side left side where the psu exhaust is? meaning, if you have stands, would it still be ok for heat dissapation.

i was considering the overture.. until i heard of your 50 deg idle

Just one question. Why did you mount the two extra bases from the Zalman ZM80-HP on the side of the heatsink?

case airflow sucks.. i added the 2 xtra ones bc i saw someone do it.. and it does get hot.. really hot on mine so id suggest you guys do the same. if do have them.. i did not try it without the paxmate bc there glued on.. and i have tried standing it on its side.. that does nothng bc the intake goes through the psu which inturn blows hot air around in the case anyway... bad design by antec's part.. if there was a intake pci cooler fan id get it and it prob would bring my temps down 10c no problem..untill them i have to deal with this

ohh.. didn't know that the psu actually draws air IN from the side .. i thought it blew out there.. yeah not a good idea.

Nice setup. You may want to try a Vga Silencer cooler, It removes the video card's heat from the case. The heat pipe does a good job cooling the GPU, but leaves all the heat trapped in the case.

One question: How did you fit the Zalman 7000 heatsink on an NF7?

The site actually has a series of articles on the case -- and yes Virginia, it is a hot case. Which is why I went with a Kanam Accent HT-400 instead of the Overture

Suggestion!

Cut a hole in the side/top of the Overture, right above the CPU cooler's fan, and then cover that with Modder's Mesh or something. Then install a thermally controlled fan in the rear, if the Antec you have is not already thermally controlled. It seems to me like your CPU cooler could benefit from having a cold air intake. Also, mounting those two bases from the Zalman onto the heatsink itself really impedes the convective flow of air.

Turning the PSU fan around really helps with these cases. I don't know what they were thinking when they made the PSU warm up the case...
