My buddy had problems with his case getting way too hot (didn't have good enough air flow). My case turned out pretty well. Processor temp before the silencer was 36 degrees Celsius and now with the silencer it is 44 degrees Celsius. Not bad considering all that carpet I threw in there. I seriously think the angled baffles made a huge difference in the air flow quality. The only noise I really hear any more is the gentle wooshing of air, not of fans :)

Not bad, but I can tell you, it's better to prevent sound than to deaden it.

FYI, a couple years after construction, space under the desk became more important to me than volume, and the whole thing got the axe, literally. I cannot tell you all the fun I had dismantling this device. :)
