What I have changed:

Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro runs at 5v, idle temp 37c, load 52c.
Tri-cool fan runs att lowest RPM, still too noisy for me, will be replaced.

What can be improved?

Not sure, after replacing the rear fan with a Nexus Real Silent (true?) I think i'm done.

BTW, I just love the way the Antec P150 is built. Very nice and solid. And detachable cables for the PSU, a dream. The only bad thing is that there isn't very much you can improve on it, they thought of everything =)

Looks really nice. Much better than this P150. It was very smart to put the hard drive in the bottom set of rubber bands in case they should break. Is there any room underneath for some foam ?

What revision is your PSU?

Really astonishingly good cable management. My current setup looks like a rat's nest compared to yours. Sleeved cables help, of course. Good job!

Update - Nexus fan has arrived...


...but it was way to noisy at 12v so I run it at 7v, almost inaudible but still sufficient to cool my GPU, or so I hope Anyway I have same temps as with the Antec fan at lowest RPM.

So, from worst to best...

1 - PSU
2- Samsung HDD (whiny sound at one feet, none at 3-4 feet)
3- Nexus (7v, very subtle)
4 - Arctic Cooling (5v)

In all, it's a little less noisy than my previous computer. But not by much.

Wilhelm-Tell, it looks like you have an 0512 Revision A3. Is it the original PSU and if so, where did you purchase the P150?

It could help a lot of people who are still on the fence. Thanks in advance.

I got it from www.shg.biz a swedish webstore, a week ago. It's not a A3, its marked "A21"

Ok, Thank you. It's good to see a P150 with a more recent NeoHE. I live in the states but maybe it will help some of your nordic neighbors. Oh, and you might want to remove or block out part of that serial number just to be safe.

That is correct. For now... Runs so slowly anyway, not sure if soft-mounting it would make difference.

How have you undervolted your Nexus and AC Freezer64 Pro fans? Is the Freezer connected to the CPU fan header?

I'm a big fan of your setup. Oh, do you have any intake fans? I'm considering a similar build and I would like to have 1 or 2 real silent 92 mm fans running as slowly as practical in the front.

I'll have an Arctic Cooling Silencer too, do you have any suggestions on how to undervolt the fan on that? RivaTuner?

Yes, both are undervolted. I use a Zalman MC1 for the Arctic cooling fan, it provides +5V or +12V. The Nexus runs at 7V. Look at the excellent guide here at SPCR:
