Very nice indeed, did it take much case modding to get the cables so tidy? I think I might have to get the Dremel out to sort mine, though the PSU cables seem to short to achieve what you have :(

Beautiful Build.

Re: the sound card question on the last page, as long as you have the programs setup correctly to only use X or Y sound card, everything works fine. At the moment I am using 2 outputs and one input at a radio station with a similar S.C setup.

has the noise characteristic change since you upgraded to the msi?I'm looking for a silent(at least at idle) gpu,and I really want to know your oppinion on the matter.Curently I have a 5770 vapourx and unfortunately it's still audible in idle.

Considering the fact that the previous card was fanless, after upgrade, the noise has rise a little... Insesizable with side panel closed. With panel open, you can hear the 2 fans on MSI. That is in Idle. I'll still play with the fan settings to see if the temps are allright if i keep the fan at 20-30% in full load.

Soon i will change the PSU with a Seasonic X-series (most probably the 750W version). I hope I can upgrade the rest of PC too, in plan beeing i7 2600K and a Z68 Mobo.

Nice build, very clean.
How much do you think the insulation helps with noise?
How long did it take to cut and paste the insulation?
I want to build a new system in 8-10 weeks, already got the case and I'm not sure if the effort of insulation is worth it.

In 8 weeks Intel will introduce new CPUs and chipsets:
i7-3770K in 22nm process will replace i7-2600K and i7-2700K. Still 3.4GHz base clock 3.9GHz turbo unlock multiplier, but power draw is going from 95W to 77W. Both are/will be lower in real life.
Z77 chipset will replace Z68 and supports PCIe 3.0. It will have 4 USB 3.0 ports, most boards will have 2 internal and 2 external ports. Z77 will have multiplier overclocking but also BCLCK straps. You are no longer be limited to 100MHz BCLK + max 5Mhz, but you will be able to choose 125MHz and 166MHz straps, too. Almost like FSB overclocking on Socket 775.
If you are not in hurry to upgrade, you should wait for these to hit the market.

Is very easy to cut and install...

I'm not hurry but I think the new ones will be very expensive and I dont know if I will afford it...

Not really. i5-3570K will replace i5-2500K at the same price 216€ -> 190€ street price. i7-3770K replaces i7-2700K 332$ -> 300€ street price. i7-2600K @ 270 € will be EOL.
Z77 might be a little bit more expensive for the first weeks, as new boards always are. I think prices could go down a few bucks since the boards no longer need extra chips for USB 3.0.
Intel might bring only the i5-3570K and i7-3770K on April 8th because Intel has full invetories of Sandy Bridge chips and It's partner have full inventories of system.

@oxygen200000, really impressed with your cable management, you really making me embarrased on my server with your sata routing.... even i had to hard look inside the cages to find the silverstone 4 sata power cables, which ended really amazing. I'll try to follow your style now that i update mine with IBM M1015 + 8x Seagate 4tb. Btw how do you do the sata cable routing, you measure and pre do the ties or you do it inside?

I tied the SATA cables with all the HDDs inside the cage, but with cage pulled out of the box. For the routing inside the box, I tied them lighter and after i liked how they stay I've tied them up strongly.
Anyway... I don't like the results so much. I must improve it a lot, but to do that I need to find a Dremmel or some other small cutting tool.

More pics HERE.
