It is similar to the Mighty Mouse, but the scroll is an optical sensor.
Unfortunately, the main (left) button failed after about a year of my usual heavy use. I now use a Magic Mouse, which is also silent for scrolling, and works much better overall, than the Targus.

Was wondering how to silence the noise in the mouse I recently purchased (Logitech M90) and it worked! No more annoying "clicky" noise when I scroll

Great idea and i agree feels very strange i had taken the pin out two days ago and still trying to get the feel of it... i am sure i will come around soon

I just picked up a GPW, and I’ve started thinking about mods i want to do. I’ve always thought the mouse click sound was pointless. Is there any way to silence it? I’m afraid to just open up the mouse and start snipping plastic, so I’m curious is anyone has tried it before.

don't be afraid man , there is nothing that can be broken .
