Every time I re-read this thread, I always have to remind myself that the NSK1380 does not come like that out-of-the-box! Your paint job looks so professional that I'm fooled every time. It's always a surprise to see the case with the stock grayish top. It's not nearly as pretty as yours. :)
Sorry for the very late answer but I have been extremely busy the last months.
Its painted with Black Motip Acrylic paint. Normally used for car parts.
I washed the lid with some normal dishwashing soap. Then dried it. Afterwards I wiped the lid with a lint-free cloth with Isopropyl alcohol on it.
Then... Grey primer once. Then 3 layers of Black paint.
BTW the original color of the lid is not grayish if you ask me. Its nicotineish. :D
