Built another computer... Just finished a 24 hour burn in using Prime95.

Components are:
-Antec Mini-P180 micro-ATX case; stock 200mm fan is mounted using rubber retainers, and is undervolted to 5V, bottom HDD cage is removed, exhaust fan is removed.
-Asus P5QPL-VM EPU micro-ATX motherboard with eFan control. The case fan (Enermax Twister) is controlled by the eFan, as the HSF is passive.
-Intel Core2Duo E6750 overclocked via Asus TurboKey with Scythe Orochi passive heatsink.
-PNY GeForce GTX260 216 - BIOS modified to under-run the fan at 25%
-SeaSonic M12-II Modular Silent 430W PSU on silicone standoffs, all cables routed.
-Dual Samsung F1 Spinpoint 750GB SATA drives on silicone standoffs.

DVD-RW is a dual layer external Samsung unit, inside of an insulted case. The computer is running Win7 64-bit, with a 3Dmark06 score of 13982. This system also features Asus Express Gate, which allows you to turn the system on in 5 seconds, and use email, skype, chat, etc. similar to an Eee PC netbook.

Power supply is 80-Plus certified, EPU motherboard and CPU throttling are used, total system power use is less than 250W under load with 90+ efficiency.

Asus PC Probe II showed 52C after the 24-hr torture test; this was done with the 'turbo key' enabled (about a 15% overclock), and the temperature was steady at 52C for the last 14 hours. I used the 64-bit version of Prime95 which loads up both cores.

The 200mm fan is attached to a Zalman fan mate, so there is no rpm speed. The Enermax twister ranges from 400-1200rpm (idle, end of 24-hour burn in) - I had to modify the case to eliminate the intake fan mesh, as it was causing an acoustic ripple with the twister fan; perhaps something to do with the unique blade shape of this fan.

The only annoyance at the moment is a slight vibration I am trying to locate; with the exception of this, the system is below ambient noise.

Is there a change to mount the big papa UNDER Scythe Orochi blowing upwards? I have that kind of system with ninja heat sink and 12cm fan, beeing deeper in the case it doesn't make any noise nor vibrate in the case.

By 'big papa' you are referring to the 200mm fan? You would need to devise a mounting strategy, and would probably run into clearance issues with your motherboard. The 'stock' location, of pulling air through the heatsink, should be equally effective.

I revised my cable routing strategy, and have eliminated the vibration noise I was experiencing earlier; the only fans installed are the undervolted 200mm exhaust fan, a 120mm Enermax Twister fan, controlled by Asus eFan, the reference fan on the GeForce 260GTX, and the Seasonic M12 Adda 120mm fan, controlled by the PSU's fan controller.
