Mondrian and Acero

A couple of projects I have finished lately.

First up is Mondrian. An abstract art flavored computer influenced by the work of Dutch painter Piet Mondrian (1872-1944). The geometric design was utilized to help hide/minimize the exposed Scythe Kozuti CPU Heatsink/Fan. The CPU fan draws outside air directly into the case through the heatsink. The enclosure is made from hand cut and polished colored cast acrylic tiles.

Next is Acero. Italian for maple, Acero is an Android based desktop PC that is dead silent with no moving parts. It is made from birds-eye maple and cast acrylic with a shellac finish. The aluminum I/O plate was hand made using drilled pilot holes and small hobby files.
