My quiet liquid-cooled gaming test bench

I often make improvements to my systems, so an open-air chassis was a logical choice.

The build itself doesn't have a name, but I always set my gaming computer's internal IDs to Falken after the guy in WarGames.

Image

Case: Lian Li PC-T60R.
CPU: Intel i7-4790k.
RAM: 2x4GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer.
GPU: Nvidia GTX 980 with EVGA waterblock and backplate.
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark 1.
PSU: SeaSonic SS-1050XP3. (In hybrid mode the fan only makes noise during the Summer months)
Pump/Waterblock: Swiftech Apogee Drive II.
SSDs: 4x Samsung 840 EVOs in RAID 0.
Fans: 4x Noctua NF-A14 PWMs (2 in push-pull on each radiator) plus a NF-A9x14 PWM in front of the SSDs.
Radiators: Hardware Labs Black Ice SR1 140s.
Reservoir: Bitspower Water Tank Z-Multi 150.
Coolant: Distilled water with Swiftech HydrX corrosion/algae inhibitor.

The whole build is made from off-the-shelf components and accessories, I didn't drill any new holes nor paint/fabricate any parts. Though I did get longer screws to mount the radiator brackets to the case's handle.

I tracked down a beige SATA Multi DVD burner to match the fans, and swapped out the card reader's original black floppy drive to match its beige faceplate.

The noisiest component is usually the video card, which buzzes when I play demanding games, but other than that I have no complaints about my system.
