Hello, this is my gaming rig, i play some games and do audio/video stuff. Preferably everything on ULTRA settings :) but i love a silent pc as well under load.
My case is the CoolerMaster Silencio 550, i'm using 4 Be Quiet! silent fans for airflow and a Silent Pro M2 720w for psu.

Thankgod this Ivy Bridge cpu for it's relative low heat and great power TDP of only 77 W. Also my new MSI GTX 660 is very power efficient with a TDP of only 140 W. Before this i had a Sapphire HD7870 which was also low power but i destroyed it after mounting a Arctic Acceloro universal gpu cooler that made my VRM's overheat... :(

In this video you can also hear almost no noise under cpu & gpu load <3

62C temps on the GPUs under load. Nice - was that with the case door still open or closed? How much of a difference did the internal fan next to the gfx cards make on temp?

Open, but if i close the panel temps go up to 70°c :) If i didn't had fans in this case i'm sure things would be much hotter

Some results

Just wondering why anyone uses SLI while playing at 1080p. Are two GTX660 cheaper than a GTX670 or whats the reason behind your setup?

70C isn't so bad. I would really think you can turn things down a bit and makes things quieter with only another 5C warmer. Afterall, 8 fans in a system is a lot!

I went to the shop for a GTX 680 but they didn't had any in stock, and the price was 450 euro almost. Then i saw some benchmarks of GTX 660 SLI and it showed 20% more performance than a stock 680. Each 660 cost 205 euro, so double that and it's still cheaper than GTX 680. Besides, i never had SLI of Crossfire and i really wanted to do this and so far i don't have any regrets :)

And in the future i have plans to connect my pc to a 50"+ tv and i want smooth gameplay, that's also a big reason to go for SLI aka Overkill

I thought the Arctic Acceloro guarantee your Sapphire HD7870 not to over heat? Does warranty covers anything?

Is it the Accelero S1 Plus that you use?
