Anyone using REAR exhaust fanhole as intake?!

Enclosures and acoustic damping to help quiet them.

Anyone using REAR exhaust fanhole as intake?!

Just wondering about this,
at work the generic/el cheapo cases we have have a horrible front intake (basically nothing)
Does/has anyone used the rear hole as an intake? Just wondering how effective it is.

Hi,
Hot air rises... so if you push air in from the top, you're more likely to recycle hot air. If you do that, the question really is : where/how would you exhaust the hot air ?

hopefully all the exhaust will come out of the powersupply.
The design of these cheap $20 cases is pretty pathetic when it comes to front intake, as theres only 3 small holes..

You also have to see how close the PSU exhaust is from the rear intake.

Do you have any hot components in those cases ?
