Stylish mini-itx case

Post by xcanner » Thu Jul 23, 2009 6:40 am

Hi

Im looking for a alternative to the Origen AE M10 mini-itx case (since its not out yet).

It gonna be fitted with the Zotac geforce 9300-itx wifi, a small harddrive (maybe a 2.5" ssd), i have to need for a optical drive (all media is going to be played from the server).

Anyone knows a case as stylish as the M10?

The Silverstone LC07B would be perfect, if it was mini-itx...

Thanks
Peter

Välkommen till SPCR!!!!

I don't think you have to wait for long, some sites have it listed.
Sure, it may take months, but then again, how easy is it to find an alternative?

Found some other models, but they're less minimalistic.
HFX micro
Luxa2 mini

I dont like the Luxa2 design (looks like a cheap digital radio to me :D )

And i do like the HFX cases (my last HTPC was in a classic case), the thing is, the safety fan was spinning like mad to keep the system cooled in summer time (my appartment gets really hot), the micro doesnt have that....

Funny thing about HFX cases:
HFX Mini - micro atx (and standard)
HFX Micro - mini-itx

They didnt really think that through when they created the mini :-)

To bad there isnt a mini-itx alternative to the Silverstone LC07 case, i really like it. I found aluminipc (cant post urls yet, but its easy to find on google), but i cant find a retailer.... Been googling for a case for over 3 days now!

I can recommend www.caseking.de as they have a good selection of cases (and other hardware). Shipping to denmark is reasonable and fast.

Edit: just saw a picture of the Origen AE M10 mini-itx case and it sure looks good:)

Im not really into a cube design... It would look great as a desktop, but not by the TV.

Did you ever find a good LC07 equivalent for Mini-ITX boards?
