I would like to fill the case with absorber materials. What kind of materials could I consider for that purpose?
Warmest Regards.

Foam is the first thing that springs to mind... What sort of case? What sort of sounds are you trying to dampen? Filling the case with light foam isn't going to do much for vibration noise...
Also, while I'm sure you don't mean it literally... "fill" brings to mind unpleasant things with regard to airflow... :S

What country are you in? Not sure if this could limit/increase your retail options?
AcoustiPack:

B-Quiet Ultimate (formerly Brown Bread):

SilverStone Silent Foam SF01:

Inexpensive "mass loaded vinyl":

From the pictures, the SilverStone product may just be a rebranded AcoustiPack?
The above are all fairly high density (compared to packing foam), and would absorb some vibration off the panels. Lighter foam on top of these is always an option if you have lots of room.

Here was my post on the subject, which basically is just a copy of the above:DumpALump wrote:There doesn't really seem to be a perfect sound deadening material. The heavier stuff helps lower vibrations and redirects sound, while the lighter open cell foam absorbs higher frequencies. Since I have a pretty sturdy case (P183), I'm going with a layer of closed cell foam and a layer of open cell melamine foam on top of it. Won't make a huge difference, but should be enough to be worthwhile.
