Great!

More than 2 years ago I posted here: viewtopic.php?p=185898

A Micro-ATX version of the P180 should be great, does anyone here think the same?
My wishes have come true, and now it's possible to build a powerful and silent computer with reduced size... :D

...although I admit that those minor glitches, like the "stupid" arrow may not be wanted for any of us here, the overall concept is superb, and front e-SATA is definitely a plus :)

At 90-120 € price tag, I hope it will be easily found here in Spain. If it had launched six months ago, I wouldn't have bought the P182

Still no word on this one? Rumored for October but that's not going to happen. Still waiting...........

Lets see if they make 2007! I'm semi-planning a case for early next year and am split between a 182-mini (if reviews end up liking it) and a solo.

Solo is so nice, hard to go wrong w/ that. We don't know what the final specs on this badboy are going to be anyway.

arrghh...I can't wait anymore.

have to build a system for my brither in law-in-law before December and it looks like it will be the NSK6580.

The Solo was just too tight, the P182 was too big and this mini-182 hasn't come out.

Maybe Antec will remove that ginormous fan and tone down the front panel on the final product. :) (one can only hope)

The large top fan is actually a good trait: better airflow at a lower RPM count allows a quieter experience.

I don't like the top grill but the fan is a good decision since there's no way they could put it on the back panel. As long as it's optimized for silence it'll be a great addition.

The mini P180 is ugly! Why ruin the beaty of the P180? Good grief just make it smaller folks!

Thanks for the pictures, Stefan!

It looks pretty good in this picture: http://photo15.yupoo.com/20071204/15584 ... vgztld.jpg :D

Too bad the front door and top arrow vent are too hideous. ;(

Looks like it's available in the Asian market, unless that was a pre-release review. That's a good sign.

I feel the same way. Nice update except it looks like a designer took an X-ACTO knife to the front door!

 so any suggestions for cosmetic mods? Some inlays for the exacto slots? Arrow grill removal and replacement?

Anyone else notice the new redesigned (less restrictive) filter doors?

Too bad about that top vent, else it would've been a sure buy for me.

to me it looks like a p180B that had a really fat guy with an ugly foot stomp on it, i don't know if its just me but i don't even like how the inside is layed out

I would buy. Those arrows remind me of chevrons used in military ranks. Looks like really solid internals. The PSU is chambered away. I like.

I think despite my negativity and distaste for the case's exterior, I'm probably going to buy this case. There simply aren't any good uATX cases available, and the MP180 is at least of solid construction with a good airflow configuration. I'll just have to make it a point to never, ever look at it.

Just got an email from antec. The mini p180 will be available in germany within a month.

Will the interior be black in the final version? The case in the SPCR coverage is plain silver. Black interiors are sexy.

I agree Black does look nice, but Antec like to charge extra for it :(

I like it. Size does matter and it beats unwanted features such as arrow shapped restrictive fan exhaust. I would like to see the official report on SPCR soon 8) Especially the top fan, how noisy it gets at minimum speed. I would like to keep things silent, and don't really see which fan to switch it for, if it's loud.

While I doubt the case will be $55, the fact that they've made a page for the product tells us it should be here within a month :)

I was pondering this case...trying to find something both cool & quiet (still don't like the Sonata 3)...until I saw that one can only put one optical drive in it. That's just not gonna do!

I guess someone missed the two 5.25" drive bays at the bottom.

I guess someone did.
That's kind of a silly place for optical drives if one has this case sitting on the floor.
