Replacing my P180 with... another P180?
Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a dillema. I purchased my P180 back in November of 2005 and well, its been a love/hate relationship.
My P180 has suited me well aside for a few nusiances: cable management, original door was warped but replaced, and [recently] warped/separating case panels.
My motherboard is a Gigabyte K8U-939 which has the CPU sitting right smack in the middle, rendering the 2 fans in the rear/top of the P180 more or less "useless." And with the location of everything, all the decent places to mount a fan onto the scythe is gone.
I am in the process of getting a new case as this one will go on to a friend, and was wondering if I'm better off getting another P180 (with all the new upgrades of the P182), the runner-up Antec SOLO, or a Coolermaster Centurion (if it can be cooled quietly).
Suggestions and comments are welcome.

I know you've probably already convinced yourself that the 182's are the ticket (frankly I don't blame you).
However have you tried contacting antec about the separated side panels?
I know at the LEAST you can purchase the panels only. However I'm almost positive I've seen people get comp'd for free by antec for the side panel separation issue.
Just puttin that out there just in case.

See my experience with the P182 here. The SOLO is both cooler and quieter. With only 2 HDDs, I'd highly recommend it instead.
Antec cases as well as PSUs have 3 year warranty as far as I know so why don't you contact Antec?
With regards replacement, I would recommend against another P180/P182. Go for one of the others.
I'm at the the stage where my HDs are the noisest part in the P180 (modded to make cabling easier). For some reason they appear to be quieter in an Aluminium case than the P180. I think the P180 is overrated.

You paid a lot of money for the P180, it is an expensive computer case. You may reasonably suspect is lives longer then 2 years, as computers get older then 2 years.
If your case doesn't, contact antec and try to get your panels replaced. On their website they claim 3 years warranty for antec products, go get it. Seen from the price of the case you already paid for the warranty.
If for whatever reason you can't get your new panels, maybe then you can look for a new case.
