Which (Vapor) Case?

Granted, you can't get this stuff right now, only "real soon now," but which would you buy?

1) Antec Sonata $130 + AcoustiPack Deluxe $90

Or,

2) AcoustiCase Black Super Mid-Tower $150 + Zalman 300W PSU $70

Note the *beige* acousticase is not an option. :)

And why?

How about a third option?

Compucase LX-6A19 $50
AcoustiPack Deluxe $90
Fortron 300W 120mm PSU $30

Total: $120.

The Sonata is a good starting point but needs a little work.
The AcoustiCase might be good IF (big if) it gets released this year.

What part of option #1 is vaporware?

I'd go with Mr_Smartepants' reccomendation.

If you can get the Compucase with a front door and don't hate those, by all means get that.

With any good luck you can also insulate the inside of the front door with AcoustiPack (or similar material) and get some additional noise isolation from the 5,25" bays and optical drives.

That's what I'll do with my next case.

Halcyon
