Silverstone Sugo SG1 - 120mm mod?

Post by Littlehugo » Sat Nov 10, 2007 3:06 pm

Does someone have a idea how to mod the silverstone sg01 evo case with a 120mm fan? I Thought it maybe be possible to place it in the front in the top, where the 80mm is now. What do you think?

Maybe! I'll be getting an evo soon, might look into that myself =) Though I already have a coupla nexus 80mm fans, will see how well they work first.

I think you've got more chance to succeed if you try to put it in that empty fanholder, because around the left top fan seems to be little space. If you can unfold the metal I think it should work.
But, if you unfold the metal, it'll get a lot more flexible, so it might bent. If folding one of the metal sheets is enough, I really advise that.

Yes but that's what i meant. If i can make a 120mm fan hole where the 80mm fanholder is now. Maybe its enough room for 2st 120mm too?

Yes its a realy nice case :) But it would be nicer with some 120mm fans ;)

And then i'm having trouble getting a cpuy cooler, i bought a Cooler Master Gemini II and the Corsair 520w have to cool it, i got a Oc'd E6600 @ 3.3ghz, hope its woorking :)

Sorry får my bad english by the way ;)
