make a mobo tray for P180

i was just wondering if constructing a tray for the mobo was possible in the p180. or simply elevating the mobo attachment holes to rise it.

the only problem that i can think of is the usb, firewire, ports etc it wont line up with the IO frame.

i wanted to route some wires underneath and this wasnt possible because there simply any room under the board or b/w it and the right side panel

so anyone had an experience doing something similar. or w.e
