Okay, I have a very very loud Maxtor 20gb in my backup pc. So I decided to put it into a glass pyrex container with a rubber lid. I have a lian li Pc-65 and the pyrex is sitting in the harddrive cage at the bottem with the two fans at 7v. Is this okay??

Doesn't it just vibrate against the glass? Or did you sit on on something (like foam)?
I'm pretty sure sure that the thing is going to bake itself in there. Are you monitoring the temps?
