3.5" HDD in Antec ISK 300

Has anyone with a Antec ISK 300/301-150 case (or with the 300-65) tried to put a 3.5" HDD in?
Would it be possible to place it where the slim optical drive bay is (I don't need one). Or maybe remove the whole metal panel that sustains the hdd/optical bays, and place somehow the hdd?
I would like to use it as a WHS server and the 2.5" HDDs are too small and expensive. And here, in Romania, this is the only small case that is available for now

Now I saw that a thread for this case is on the site, and someone asked exactly the same thing. It's possible, but probably some holes need to be drilled in the metal plate where the optical drive sits... perfectly acceptable for me, as long it's a small case
