I'm not using the front ports for anything exept usb so I want to get rid of the cables for audio and fire wire.
First of, how can I see what cable is usb and what cable is not. Second, how should I remove them?
Pesky sonata front port cables!

From memory, when I hooked mine up:
The USB are marked: +D, -D, 5V and Ground
The Firewire is marked TPB+, TPB-, TPA+, TPA-, VP, VG,
I haven't even looked at the audio........ I have an audigy.
EDIT: TO remove them, you can rip off the front of the case and then have a look at how they are connected, or you can go them with wire cutters...
Personally, I tape them up in a coil and then tape them down to the case (hidden underneath my HDD's)

Re: Pesky sonata front port cables!
Just do what i did on my SLK3700. I just pulled them out of the case and coiled them up behind the front bezel and cable-tied them into place. That way they're still available if I ever decide to use them.markanini wrote: Second, how should I remove them?
