What should P29x bring over P280 ? XL-ATX support ? Oh wait, P280 supports that. So, what would be the point of the P29x ? What feature will be the bonus feature to even consider designing of such case ?

You're asking about a P193 successor à la the P280? I doubt that, as the P193 V3 was released not long ago.

XL-ATX support just missed that.
I was just curious to see alternatives to P280. I bit of a larger case for example with some extra inside!!
I wonder why Antec left behind the 2 compartment design and what would that mean in terms of cooling and quiteness??Any comments on that??

Actually P280 looks more like the P193 successor than P183 successor.

Good comparison. Hopefully there will be a Mini version that really is smaller than other full sized cases, and available in white of course.

The P290 could support 2 480 radiators . As well as 4 x 140 mm side fans to provide enough cooling for the GPUs.

because it was pointless, took up a lot of space inside, and made cabling difficult. i'm not sure it ever actually accomplished anything, and with a bottom vent the power supply has its own separate intake/exhaust from the rest of the case anyway.

and if you really want to, you can use cardboard to create the same effect.


the only thing i really wish this case had was 140mm fan support all around. and a door hinged from either side. and a few blocking plates in the box.
