Can I use my ‘Cooler Master COSMOS 1000’ for a fanless PC?

Enclosures and acoustic damping to help quiet them.

Can I use my ‘Cooler Master COSMOS 1000’ for a fanless PC?

Post by michaelbeijer » Mon Mar 31, 2014 2:43 pm

Hello everyone,

This is my first attempt at a silent system. I want to build my own fanless, 100% silent system, and am wondering if I can re-purpose my current desktop's case. I have a Cooler Master COSMOS 1000: http://www.coolermaster.com/case/full-t ... smos-1000/

I was thinking of buying the necessary components here from quietpc.com, and building the thing myself.

If possible, I would like to use the 16GB of RAM and SSD I have in my current PC in the new system too.

Any comments would be very welcome!

Michael
