So I assembled my system in a corsair 550D, and I am not getting it as quiet as I would want to. Even with 2 500RPM fans only and a passive PSU the case seem to provide a weird woos noise that can be heard.
I am coming from an Antec P183 with no extra foam.
So atm from my point of view I think the P183 is still the best case for a really quiet PC.
Hows your thoughts on this guys? ;D
Seems to me the P183 is still king :(

What are the components and could you describe the noise a bit more?
Harddrive vibrations perhaps, if it's a low pitch noise. The drive dampening here is certainly less effective than on the P180/280 series of cases.
In case that's it there should be a couple of 5,25" trays free that could be used for suspension.

The Antec P18X series chassis is great for sound insulation, We appreciate your comments.
