Hi,

I recently bought a Zalman MS1000-HS1 case and was wondering the most efficient way to setup my fans ?

To begin with, the Zalman MS1000-HS1 has only 1 92mm slot as opposed to the HS2 model.

There are 3 fan outtake slots, 2 on the top (one pre-installed) and 1 on the rear. There is an optional slot at the bottom of the case for positive airflow.

There are 1mm openings between the front slots to suck air in from the out side, and there are also small vents surrounding the panel to let air go inside. I'm under the impression Zalman designed this system to have a strong negative airflow, as there is only one 92mm fan inside the case and a single intake at the bottom of the case for a 120mm fan.

My question is this : Since there are only 2 possible intakes (120mm at bottom and 92mm inside on hd bay) and 3 possible outtakes, should the bottom fan have a huge RPM > 2000 to prevent too much of a negative airflow if there are three 1200 rpm fans on the top.

Also, isnt a 92mm air inside the case lead to more dust coming in ?
