I noticed the fractal design r4 isn't being sold without window on newegg, and is very out of stock (I was on waiting list for a month) on amazon

Anyone know whats up with that

Ask them, they should know. But it's probably just a matter of getting the next big container shipment.

Should be soon, but you could also ask Fractal Design when they will get the next shipment of the Define R4 over to the US.

I ordered black one w/o window from overstock.com for $116.49 and got it 2 days later.
overstock.com does not charge taxes(at least to NY) and their shipping is always flat $2.95, even for a big box like this case.
Every other (decently priced) place I looked at was oos or would cost more.

I asked Fractal Design about this as I want to order one but won't be at home for a couple of months, this is what they said:

Fear not! The Define R4 is not going anywhere any time soon. The should be plenty by the time you get back. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to call or email.

I ended up buying one from a reseller on Amazon anyways and had it shipped to a friend though, looked like they still had a few left.
