I decided to buy a P183 V3 but have since discovered that it seemingly has 1 USB 3.0 and 2 USB 2.0 front ports although Antec's documentation is conflicting.
Webpage says: 3 x USB 3.0
The PDF manual says: 2 x USB 2.0, 1 x USB 3.0
If you have this this case would you please share the USB ports configuration and the case revision if you know it; it might be written on the box.
Considering that USB 3.0 is (generally) backwardly compatible it seems a strange choice to go with only one port. I usually put removable storage in the front sockets so USB 3 works well there. The stuff I have permanently connected at the rear is USB 2.
3 USB 3.0 also seems an odd choice as not many mobos have dual USB 3.0 internal headers so one of each makes sense with 2 allocated to USB 3.0 if not going for the full 4 ports.

I just read the Newegg reviews and there are clearly multiple revisions of the V3.
It seems as if it went like this:
A) One USB 3.0 via external cable.
B) One USB 3.0 via internal header.
C) Three USB 3.0 via internal headers.
Just need to get the revision numbers to make sure I get the last version.
I think you can get USB 3 to 2 adapters so that I can convert the single USB 3 into a USB 2. Need to check that out.

Checked and you can get a cable that does that for a few bucks but the downside is a bit of case clutter.smilingcrow wrote:I think you can get USB 3 to 2 adapters so that I can convert the single USB 3 into a USB 2. Need to check that out.
