Sorry to get you excited, at least for me this is something im looking for, not sure if antec is planning at some point to replace their P180mini, but either way i got bored, and kinda wanted to see if anyone would like a p280 on micro atx factor.
I used to like a lot big cases, but no more, once i moved on to TJ08-E i really enjoyed having a fully powerful pc in a form factor that its much more convenient to be in the top of the desk. And with silverstone having the TJ08E & PS07, Fractal Design having the Define Mini and recently Corsair released their Obsidian 350D, i feel Antec is slacking into not releasing something to compete directly. I kinda like the P280 but its way to big, specially them going with XL-ATX support, its a huge case, that i don't doubt many like, but i really would love to see P280mini
- Only 4 PCI slots
- 1x 5.25 bay, i would prefer 0, but there is some that still use so to keep it open to most, 1 is enough
- No top fans, this is more wishfull thinking as Corsair 350 and Defini Mini have support for 120x 2 so i guess they will keep it, but maybe some design that closes them
- I would like twin frontal 140mm (even if one or zero come with the case) or twin 120mm is fine also. The PS07 already comes with twin 120, the 350D also can support twin 120s, so just to keep it competive.
- Price would be ideal $90 (even if only 1 fan is included) to compete with the TJ08-E is like $100, PS07 is $77, Define mini is $100, 350D is $110
This is just a crappy paint job an P280 to P280mini, it will end up slightly bigger than TJ08-E but much better hdd management and support, and quieter.
