what are the drawbacks using sound absorption material, and what brand is the best?

I found this but it looks ugly

The heat loss through the case walls will actually be negligible compared to what you blow out through ventilation. Often the gradient will be less than 10°C and you have two air-solid transitions. The absorption material obviously adds bulk, depending on the surface structure possibly sequesters dust and impedes airflow.
