LDLC QT01 - the perfect case?

Post by sam2 » Tue Nov 04, 2014 3:24 am

Just found this case online, and it looks perfect for a silent build. Anyone here used this case (LDLC QT01)? How is the build quality? Seems to be only available in Europe, I wonder how much shipping to Israel will be. Perhaps the same case is also sold by some other company under a different name?

The drive cages block the front fans a bit too much, imo. They appear welded in place, and there's metal work impeding the fans beyond the cages. This is similar to the problem we see in a Corsair Carbide 330R, though that case at least doesn't have a middle cage. The bottom panel vents are much better; they could be the primary intakes.

Can you fit your custom damped drives into the lower bay and just remove the middle one?
