Expensive, but it may make an alreayd quiet PC silent :)

It has a quiet 120mm fan sucking air at the bottom into the cabient, this goes through an acousticlly shielded tunnel before reaching the PC inside.

Not sure how the PSU hot air is exhausted if at all

anyone used this?
Cooling of the PC is vital for reliable operation and safety. To ensure proper cooling, COCOON ships with a built-in 120mm 4 watt low-noise fan. The COCOON fan constantly surrounds the PC with a pillow of fresh cool air, sucked in from the coolest place - the floor. Leaving no noticeable traces of the original PC noise, the COCOON air-flow passes through a long noise absorbing duct before leaving the cabinet.

For the ultimate noise reduction, the fan itself is vibration damped and exhaust air is sent sharply downwards at the rear of COCOON. For different ambient temperatures and PC cooling requirements, the COCOON fan is fitted on a replaceable module. The fan module is accessible to the user and it can be equipped with any fan of choice. It is a future proof solution that allows the cabinet to be fine-tuned, maintained and scale to yet unknown requirements.
Mike get this reviewed ASAP :)

yipes.....look at the price. Look, this thing would be easy to duplicate. I estimate less than $150 US. If you can make a box out of wood, you could make one, and probably better than this thing. For instance....look at the cheap castors.....

It looks like they nicked your idea Bluefront and just made it bigger!

It does look very nice, but way too expensive for an ordinary home user. A better way would be to mount a PC inside it without the case, a la Rusty's in desk PC.. That would make it smaller, cheaper and better air flow. But of course the average non-technical user wouldn't like that

Or you can just make your own.

I just bought an Mikael Computer Unit from a well known swedish shop, at a fraction of the cost (about 30€), which can be easily closed.

So much for the future rainy week ends ;)
