SuperCase w/Intel Air Flow Management System

Post by canthearyou » Thu Dec 04, 2003 11:25 am

Has anyone used this case yet?

SuperCase

It says it uses "Intel Air Flow Management System"

I think it has an attractive minimalist design.

Two 80mm could go in the front and a 120mm Fotron and 80mm in the rear.

Another run-of-the-mill cheapo case. The "Intel AirFlow System" is nothing but the side hole with the CPU air duct in it.

Here's more pics.

It's a great looking case with a lot of great features. I've thought about trying it myself, but decided againts it because of the vents on the side panel.

My early observations with various cases indicated that cases with side vents tend to be noisier than those without. My hypothesis is that side vents allow sound to escape, though I've never done any conclusive tests to prove it. Consequently, all my quiet systems have cases without side panel vents. However, I've noticed that many of the new quiet cases, including the Sonata, have side panel vents so my hypothesis could very well be incorrect.
