Quiet LARGE case

Post by exeter_acres » Sun Jan 25, 2004 8:29 am

Been lurking for quite some time.. Great info..

Here is my question. The Antec cases look great, but they are a little small..
I am interested to hear your opinions as to the best LARGE case.
Chieftec Dragon size or larger

Why? I water cool, and right now I have my setup in a seperate case and would love to put it in the same case.

I did see the posts of people with water setups in their Antecs, but I would just like a little more space.
I use a large heater core as I overclock quite a bit so I still need excellent cooling, but relative quiet...

Thanks

Maybe Aopen 700?

It's quite big, not the biggest.

I'm pretty happy with my Chenbro Genie. Beware that it is definitely a negative-pressure case unless you do serious mods. BTW, I do plan to put water in it but that's in the future.

Possibly the P160. Dimensions: 20.3" x 19.7" x 8.1" Not sure if you want larger then that.

I like my AMS CK1100 server cube that I got from Servercase.com. It's a big cube that seems ideal as a WC setup, but it is expen$ive, and may be overkill for what you want. However I think cubes are better than big towers in terms of space and stability.

I like the cube.....
quite an investment for a case...but the case seems to be the one part I keep the longest!

Thanks for the info

I got the GlobalWin YCC-61F1 and I am quite happy with it. Chek it out here. The size is perfect and there is plenty of room for everything. And, it comes with 3x120mm fans.

Check out these cases by Yeong Yang.

YY-0221 - This one is my current case, it has some great features plus lots of space if you wanted to house watercooling gear or 9 Hard Drives and 6 CD-Roms...

YY-0420/0430 - This one is massive.

Hey, bigred. (You're named after gum???) Anyhow, I'd love to see a capsule review of the cube. Goose is starting to convince me that cubes are the way to go, but I'd like some feedback from some who has - ahem - actually used one. :) How long have you had it? What's inside? More questions later. Thanks.

Heh, no its just a nick name because I'm 6'2" tall and I have red hair. :)

I've had the case for about a year and a half. This page has some good pics of the case.
Other then that I'll have think about the case a little more and make a post later.
