all you gota do is go to my webpage :
http://sfgames.clicksplat.com/fold_sigs/
then copy the adress given at step 4 into your sig in your profile.
e.g.

I've tried it but it says "User not found"
I've checked on folding.extremeoverclocking.com and my user exists
http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/ ... =&u=144875
Is there a way to fix it ?

There is a bug in the code and im sorting it just now mr_plow_king.
The script sends a 404 error to my custom error php document that then tests the url entered and redirects again to extremeoverclock with the correct string.Nice job on the generator! How did you get it to work on folder names (does the script create them on the server?)

New Features!
I've added background support now, try it out
Very very cool indeed!
The only thing that's missing now is an "official" SPCR color scheme for the folding sigs like we used to have with Zyzzyx's design...
In the meanwhile I tried to match the forum colors (as others did) but that doesn't quite work out. How to match the colors (#DEE3E7 and #EFEFEF, I believe) exactly?

Looks good to me
Edit: I have now included your 'official" SPCR colour scheme.
Oh, I did by no means want to suggest that the color scheme I chose was in any way "official". I just tried to match forum colors and contribute to keeping the sober look I like about these forums. However, I did mean to suggest that there should maybe be some official colorscheme (whatever it ends up being). How do others feel about that?
Maybe we should wait unitl Jason (at extremeoverclocking.com) has implemented skins like LiquidNinja used to have, and then replicate Zyzzx's scheme (if he agrees).

Hey, I'm really glad people like this color scheme. But the fact that colors are ever so slightly off from the forum background colors still disturbs me. The background colors entered (#EFEFEF and #DEE3E7) come out as #ECEEEC and #DCE2E4, and that's visible. What is not visible (to me) is that also the black and white (#000000 and #FFFFFF) are represented differently (as #040204 and #FCFEFC).
Is this a limitation on Jason's end when generating the GIFs? Or a limitation of the GIF format?
Finally, for those liking more color and the competition aspect of folding, we could also retain the EOC color coding of text depending on PPD, like this (just don't specify c5 to get this):
Turns out the cyan indicating 100-200PPD clashes badly with the forum colors---which should motivate me to quickly repair that XP3200 of mine that has been down for a while...
I think I really prefer plain black text, though.
PS: I'm really torn between colored text and plain black. As far as promoting folding goes, having inactive users gray and top folders red could help the team. I know personally that my motivation to work on becoming green (not realistic with my current setup) would be stronger But visually there is no question, I really really really prefer black (and no, I won't underclock just to fall below 100PPD ). After all this is SPCR and not a folding site, so promoting folding should not degrade the aesthetics of these nice forums.

It must be a limitation on Jason's end. For example he might be remapping to a generic palette (e.g. web-safe colours) or the remapping algorithm is especially poor, but the GIF format is capable of it.JanW wrote:Is this a limitation on Jason's end when generating the GIFs? (Unlike PNGs which Internet Explorer refuses to display in the correct colours)
