Ahhh , but did you order a GA-K8N51GMF-9 MoBo to go along with it ?
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.a ... 6813128315
I'm also ordering the OSA165CDBOX like you with a Gig of ram and a Power supply
Can you say New Blade !
Wo0t !
I had bought the GA-K8N51GMF-9 ( because it overclocks from the BIOS ) and an "AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ ( @ 2.3 GHz ) Model ADA3800BVBOX" last September , so I'm looking forward to compairing the two !
See how much better 1 meg of L2 Folds !
EDIT: 6 March 2006
They are on the Way !!

This is the board I got http://www.pcalchemy.com/product_info.p ... mainboards
Here is an extensive thread on this board.

I have to get another stick of ram, this board wants them installed in pairs like the old days.
I just got mine set up for folding with both cores Saturday afternoon. I think I got it right . The entire build/ software installation process was easy compared to setting up 2 clients on one box . Perhaps Stanford will dedicate some effort towards making it easier to set up dual core machines, they are becoming the "norm".

Greetings,
Well, I've just built an Athlon 64 4200+ X2, and I'm running two instances of Folding@Home as services! Look for me to turn ORANGE??
Question: I'm running WinXP 64 Pro 64, and Electron Microscope III won't run. Any hints, or suggestions to get something to monitor F@H on this sweet machine?
