CPU usage while folding

Post by mexell » Fri Jul 20, 2007 10:31 pm

Something strange is happening here:
While folding with my household C2D E6420, I'm experiencing CPU loads hovering around 50%. This is definitely more load than idling windows desktop, but it's not even near 100%. What could be wrong here?
I'm using the Windows SMP client.

Hello,

The F@H client will stop the instant you do anything else, but when you are not using the CPU, it will use all of it. The 50% number means 100% of one of the two cores.
