Is there any way to specify itty bitty work units?

The other day my Pentium 4 did a 44 pointer. My concern is that my Pentium III has gotten WUs that have taken 2 weeks to complete. I don't understand how they got assigned to a Pentium III in the first place given their deadline requirements.

I have altered my config to request WUs that have no deadlines, but how do you know you have received such a WU?

You could try a monitoring utility like FahMon. It tells you the preferred deadline and the final deadline for your current work unit. I imagine if it tells you "none" or "n/a" or the like, you've been assigned a WU with no deadline.

There are no new deadline-less units being distributed. They were dropped in September last year, see http://forum.folding-community.org/ftopic16235.html
