Dasman, Congrats on starting a new 2,000,000 club!

Don't get lonely in there all by yourself, I'll try and join you in about 6 weeks.

Hiya,

Aristide1 past the 2 million points level a while ago, and I just did! At the moment, there's just the two of us -- the rest have already past by the 3 million level...

Neil,

Your link is the only other place besides SPRC where I have donated some money. It's at the top of my favorites list.

THANK YOU!!!

By the way, cordis and Lockheed are is posting 43,630 and 31,463 PPD at the moment. WTF??? :D
Both of them will pass the two million mark in the next couple of days, and indeed pass me as well.

If it were few months ago, I could boot up more machines to defend my rank. But unfortunately, I am leaving school this week, so no more folding on school machines for me. I plan to give away my personally owned machines at home as well to make moving out easier. All in all, I will stop folding altogether. If I decide to continue folding using my everyday computer, I would be posting 4000 PPD at best.

I will be missing the good old days.

That's a bummer, sorry to see you go Eumin. You were the one I was trying to beat when I upgraded all my hardware, so thanks for the inspiration.

And hey, looks like Lockheed just broke past 2 million, congrats!

well both the SMP client and GTX285 are now going strong. I average about 6k-7k PPD with both of them running.
Im still figuring out win7, so re-installing the SMP client fixed it up nicely.

The i7 980x gets 1500-2k ppd all by itself, so im happy about that part.

Hi,
I'm surprised you get only 1500-2000ppd with this beast... my C2duo E7200 gets around 1900... You must be missing something with the SMP client !
Make sure your smp client is launched with the "-smp" and "-advmethods" arguments.
Also, you might want to try the "-bigadv" argument as well but I'm not sure how it works.

Yeah, my 980x is getting between 17k-25kppd in normal SMP jobs, it used to get near 30kppd running bigadv. Still annoyed that they switched bigadv to windows only. Are you running 24/7? If you want to run bigadv, you'll definitely need to be on 24/7, so don't run that unless you're on all the time. I suppose if you're not running continuously, that could be an issue. Have you checked the process monitor, are all the cpus pegged high? Really, with a 980x and a 285, you should be getting 25k-35kppd with no trouble. Troubling.
