Using the "-advmethods" switch behind your GPU shortcut can get you 1680 point WUs. I'm cruising at 9300 PPD on the GPU alone right now (plus 3x 603 PPD Gromacs CPU).

I'm confused, do you just insert " -advmethods" at the end of the location link
"C:\Documents and Settings\Eugene\Application Data\Folding@home-gpu\" ->
"C:\Documents and Settings\Eugene\Application Data\Folding@home-gpu\-advmethods"

and it gets you the larger WU's?

"C:\Your GPU Folding Folder Location" -advmethods

This is what it should look like in the "Target" line of your shortcut properties.

Example:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Folding@home\Folding@home-gpu\[email protected]" -gpu 0 -advmethods

Is this on your GTX280? Hot stuff.

Yep. Hit nearly 12k with this the other day before a power outage. We got home after a week out to blinking clocks and a big string of O point days.

The 590X series WU's went public a couple days ago, so even those of us not using -advmethods are getting the 420 and 1680 point WU's now. I'm seeing around 5100ppd on my GTX+.
