Hi,
What do you think about the GT430 for a low power folding rig ? (Really for a NAS with an empty PCI-E slot :D )

Official link : http://www.nvidia.com/object/product-ge ... 30-us.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Real PPD numbers are hard to find... I've got this so far :

4,000 ppd on average for a max power of 49 watts (no extra power connectors on the card), that's not too bad !

I'm looking for a new card that has to be a single-slot solution...
Wasn't aware of this new release; I might buy one! Going to read some reviews and hope the fan isn't a noisy one at full tilt.

But what _really_ would be nice... Single-slot GTX 460 on air! Can't be done? Silently at least...

It sounds like an interesting card, I worry about the tiny fans on the single slot cards. Cards like this can be good, they should come out with a fanless version sometime, so that'll be good. Oh, like this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... -_-Product
Eh, there's always that sense of how you could make a 7 card system with single slot cards, but when you can get a 460 with 3.5 times as many stream processors in 2 slots, it doesn't really make sense. Would be good for small cases, though. ;)

That fanless GT 430 is a dual-slot solution Cordis. No good... :wink:

Well, with a good price on the Asus Sabertooth X58 this weekend in my favourite online store and some temporary insanity here at work...
Picking up the Asus motherboard and another Asus GTX 460 tomorrow! :D

Need the new motherboard to fit two GTX 460's and my RAID-adapter on the last bottom PCI-Express.
Soon my Asus P6T Deluxe V2 is up for grabs here in Norway.
