So much for being in the yellow and cranking stuff out. Difference of opinion here at work and I need to remove FireDaemon and Folding@Home from the systems I've set up here.

This will probably put me back to ~500pts/week instead of approaching 2500.

Durnit.

Time so set some money aside and work on building my own Folding Monster at home. A six station setup sounds good, would let me use an 8 port switch, and three PSUs for the six M/Bs.

Hrrm... Mebbe start with a pair and expand from there.

maybe you could make it so they heat the tiles in your bathroom or maybe your driveway.

Heck, I've already got my room heated up nicely. Usually 5-10*F warmer in here than the rest of the house. Thankfully my roommates haven't started turning the heat on yet.

Would be cool though to have a six node setup sitting on display in the living room. :D

Unfortunately it looks like around $100 total for a new mb/cpu/memory combo. Money I don't have right now. O'ell... stick with what I've got.

P4-2.4 - my work system, shouldn't have a problem there, no one else works on it.
AMD 1600, AMD1700, P3-566 - 3 of 5 computers at home

(I'd fire up the others but my old K6/2-200 isn't quite fast enough, and the P2-300 doesn't like the heat)
