Lost 30 frames after restart

Post by ljs1987 » Sun Dec 21, 2003 11:20 pm

I have no idea why I lost them.. My console client was into the 38th frame, at this time I closed it and shutdown from windows. Booted up again and the client says "Frames completed 0, Remaining 400", terrible. Why?

The FAH client doesn't always save the work after every frame, especially so on the proteins that have more than 100 frames (usually the Tinker cores). If it hasn't reached a 'save point' yet, it will revert back to the last one it had. In your case, back to the beginning.

The new version 4.0 client has the ability to set timered 'checkpoints'. You can force the client to save the work at certain intervals, such as every 30 minutes. Useful if the program will be interrupted frequently.
