Hello, first post.

Hi where do I ask about DIY mods? I've tried to passive cool a PSU and need help. I followed this (URL not allowed) article80-page1.html and upon power up, the motherboard I used as a load, the fan turned a little and stopped. I've insulated all my semi's, I used old PSU leads as hook up wire and also bridged the points where the heat sink mounting lugs were, just in case a signal goes through the heat sink. I did manage to get a reading of 3 volts on the 12 volt rail, I had a DMM connected.
I even plugged the fan back in, in case it sensed it wasn't there???
