okay, so i got P183 case and Corsair 750AX PSU
how should i mount it - fan facing up or down?
if fan facing up than hot air will be kept in the lower section of case, but fan down it will be blown away because there are hole below the psu. am i right?

and i got 3 PWM Scythe Slip Stream, and ASUS P8P67 v3.1 mobo
the problem is i forgot, that it has only 1 place for 4pin fan connector, the other 4pin is for cpu fan
and 2 more 3pin - for case fan #2 and power fan
i'm going to close top vent as Akustyk did in his build, so i need not top fan
but how can i control speed of other 2 fans, if i can't plug them in 4pin?

and another question - where should i install ssd?

maybe i should replace my mobo with Intel BLKDP67BGB3? as i understand, you use it and it has 3 4pin pwn connectors

Fan down for PSU.

Get rid of middle drive cage if you don't have enough space in front of the GPU for a fan. If you use the fan in the front it will create a lot of noise.

Cover the upper vent as you said. Change the back fan with Scythe, Now you will have 1 fan left. I would install it inside the 5.25" bays area (not in front). I have 1 DVD writer that is placed at the bottom of these 4 bays. So 3 bays remain unused. You can place there a scythe fan that will take air from the front and help the CPU run cooler.

All fans (no matter 3 or 4 pins) can be controlled via BIOS fan controller. They can not be fully stopped like with a normal controller but is more than what you need to go silent.

The SSD you can install it at the bottom cage together with other HDDs.

I saw you already bought the Corsair PSU. Good choice. Still, it has a fan

I saw this unit the other days: Super Flower Golden Silent 500W Fan-less
http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?na ... 5&reid=244

80+ platinum and best performance within fan less category

Considering that future CPU's are more energy efficient and the same goes for future GPUs this unit would have been more than enough.

Anyway congratulation on your purchase and keep us updated with the final results and pics :D
