I brought INTEL back in July 2006 when stocks were $18.00 because they were so damn cheap. I am thinking of holding them until the end of the year and seeing what the whole Vista, new C2D and other telecoms based plays bring to Intels fortunes. I am hoping they will get upto $26 per share. I don't think there will be much longer term growth because the company is already huge.
I also think potential markets like China and India will need a good decade or so of development before their populations can afford to buy PC's in significant numbers.
In July, AMD was also cheap, but I just didn't like the company due to its weaker financials.
