Hello all;

A pianist I really love, Valentina Lisitsa, is performing a solo concert at the Royal Albert Hall on 19 June. I live in the US and bought tickets hoping I'd be able to fly standby to see it. As flights are getting tight, I've decided not to go. If anybody wants to go, I'll gladly mail the tickets to you.

Pic of the tickets:

Two seats are together, and the other ticket is about 15 meters away. Though I'd love to recoup some of the money I spent on the tickets, I'm not expecting any monetary compensation. I know this is a little bit of a short notice, so I'll probably rush ship the tickets to ensure they get to whomever in time.

Please PM me and we'll determine how to get the tickets to you. I'm also posting this on anandtech so hopefully somebody can see the concert.

Some examples of her playing:

Yes, sorry, all those examples are Chopin pieces. She also plays a lot of Rachmaninoff and Liszt.

eBay them as they are and list the carriage charge and time it will take to get the tickets to London (unless they have some kind of digital transferal option) which is not likely.

I know someone who works backstage at a massive venue (she describes most of the company as medieval, and those that she likes as Victorian), she practically blushes as she says these things about people she respects a great deal, that however does not change the "mindset" of the people who pay to watch such things. London Is ahead of most places in the realm of "Theatre" but it is still a backward art-form.
