Phoneless ADSL options:

768k/384k = $30/mo
1.5M/384k = $38/mo
3.0M/512k = $43/mo
6.0M/768k = $48/mo (I have the POTS subsidized version of this service - I see about 5Mbps in reality)
Holy Crap Batman, that's mega expensive for such a slow service - I feel sorry for you.

Fortunately where I live I have the choice of Cable up to 100Mb, or ADSL up to 24Mb and its far cheaper than that.

I am on Virgin Cable for about £25 per month (if it was a standalone no phone service) that's 30/3Mb and that's exactly what I get (3.7MB per second), I could choose a 16Mb ADSL service with a phoneline for about £15 per month.

I could upgrade to Virgin's 100Mb/s service for $55 USD per month which I simply don't need, a true low latency 30Mb service is awesome.

No doubt living just outside London in a nice green urban are helps a lot.
